Hello and Welcome!

I am an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer who believes creating an effective eLearning course starts with data driven well-designed content and must be visually pleasing or it will not be effective. Also, I enjoy making training courses that captivate and align with business objectives. In my work, I thrive on collecting data to assess the organizations’ needs and addressing challenges proactively, leveraging my organizational skills to provide structured timelines tailored to each unique situation. A solid understanding of instructional design theory enables me to create performance-driven courses that are learner centered, interactive, and tailored to the needs of adults. I strive to continually enhance my skills to create engaging content, bringing training courses to life through interactivity, while always aligning with the organization's goals.

What I do for fun!

When I am not working, my favorite activity is traveling the world with my child. We love going on road trips, visiting museums of all types, going to national parks and having adventures in every city we visit. This is us on a Segway tour in Chicago! I have been to every state in the United States except for Alaska (but I'll get there eventually.) Internationally, in addition to Canada and Mexico, we've also traveled to Japan, France, Germany, Italy, Iceland and Greece.

Instructional Design Process was issued by Learning Strategy and Design to Tiffany Erickson.This badge is part of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing training on the Instructional Design process from kick off meeting to hand off at the end, including all deliverables and interactions with SMEs. Earners complete a rigorous set of activities that include designing a design document and storyboard that receives extensive feedback and goes through multiple revisions. Projects must pass certain criteria to receive badge.

Applied Instructional Design Certification was issued by Learning Strategy and Design to Tiffany Erickson.This badge is the culmination of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing the ID Fundamentals, Rise, Storyline, eLearning Development, and Instructional Design Process badges. Earners complete 400+ lessons, receive extensive coaching, and complete a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. Earners create a portfolio that must pass certain criteria.

e-Learning Development was issued by Learning Strategy and Design to Tiffany Erickson.This badge is part of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing over 100+ lessons and receiving extensive coaching from ID professional coaches. Earners complete a rigorous set of activities that take modules from "good" to "great" and increase engagement among learners, include developing a scenario-driven eLearning module with extensive feedback, evaluating existing modules, completing simulated client projects, and multiple revisions.

Articulate Storyline was issued by Learning Strategy and Design to Tiffany Erickson.This badge is part of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing training, receiving extensive coaching, and completing a project. Earners learn and practice the principles that make a Storyline module go from "good" to "great," increasing engagement among learners. They complete a rigorous set of activities that include developing an eLearning module and receiving extensive feedback with multiple revisions. Modules must pass certain criteria.

Articulate Rise was issued by Learning Strategy and Design to Tiffany Erickson.This badge is part of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing training, receiving extensive coaching, and completing a project. Earners learn and practice the principles that make a module go from "good" to "great," increasing engagement among learners. They develop a Rise course that receives extensive feedback and multiple revisions. Earners have to pass certain criteria to receive badge.

Instructional Design Fundamentals was issued by Learning Strategy and Design to Tiffany Erickson.This badge is part of a 9-month program called Applied Instructional Design Academy. It is earned after completing 50+ lessons in adult learning theory and application, business goal/problem and target audience definition, action mapping, writing performance-based learning objectives and assessments, and effectively chunking, sequencing, and organizing content to match. Earners submit a content map, receive extensive feedback from ID professionals, and meet certain criteria to receive badge.
